With over $1 billion in revenue in 2019 and with an audience expected to grow to almost 500 million people globally, Esports is here to stay and its future is bright. Join the Mayor's Office of International Affairs for a conversation with some of the key players in Esports in Atlanta to learn more about trends, the future of the industry, and what Esports means for the Atlanta region.
As the #1 city for gaming environment and #5 city for gamers, Atlanta is positioned as a global Esports hub. Three Esports franchises call Atlanta home: the Atlanta Reign, Hawks Talon, and the Atlanta FaZe. In addition, the Atlanta region is home to over 150 gamins studios, and two of the biggest companies in Esports, Hi-Rez Studios and Blue Mammoth, call the city home.
